The Dark.

The deepest shallows of dark hide what is worth seeing
What lies behind sight, but covered in shadows
Revealed for all to find
When light touches its shapes
Curves glowing after a shimmer of illuminating rays
Touches its surface

But when the sun sets and the moon his shell uncovers
It shines upon the face of earth
No longer hiding in the shallows of dark

And my head is filled with dark
